Strawberry Sofas - 10 top tips for being more organised

  1. Do a “to do” list and stick to it – don’t keep changing it!
  2. Prepare your clothes for the next day the night before
  3. Use a shopping list and write a menu for the week
  4. De-clutter regularly – wardrobes, kitchen cupboards etc
  5. Learn to relax it’s amazing how much calmer life can be
  6. Set aside time blocks* for doing boring tasks and see how much you get done
  7. Delegate tasks at work and around the house – you don’t have to do everything
  8. Give yourself time in the mornings or when you have to go out
  9. Eat breakfast and take a lunch break – you will be more effective
  10. Build in some form of exercise as this gives you more energy – a  short walk will do

*  time blocks – set a maximum of 1 hour for boring tasks and then see how you feel – take a break and see if you need to do some more it is amazing how much you get done when you really focus for a set time
